A lot of Baby...and a budding photographer

What have the Coleman's been up to lately?  School, Preschool, Scouts, Football Practices, Baseball meetings and practice, Dance class, daily workouts at the Y, Cooking, PTOing, Church activities, Church meetings, Church...Life is busy, but not to busy to take pictures!  (Most of the time anyway).

Both the boys decided they wanted to try football this year so we have them playing in a flag football league.  I thought this was a great way to introduce them to something besides neighborhood football and it doesn't require too much commitment.  Luckily they only have one, maybe two practices a week and one game!  Such a nice change from the hectic baseball season.  Although, Taylor has a meeting for his club team and they trying to determine when they are going to start team practices.  Kyle has him on his own individual workout!  Pictures of games will come soon.  They missed their first game last week due to it being on Sunday, but this week and the rest of the season are on Saturday so we are good to go!

McKay started Preschool.  She has been really excited to get back to school and her friends.  She loves going and it is so fun to see her learn new things.  She also started a dance class at the Y that she seems to be enjoying...we even picked up a little tutu at Target for her to wear.  I am so glad they have little classes like this.  Most of the dance studios here are very committed and I want to make sure that she likes it before we dive in to it!

McKay has starting folding her arms when she feels a little shy...she warms up soon, but it is so dang cute when she does it!

This is a fun picture of McKay with her BFF Kate during a back to school root beer float celebration at a friends down the street...too cute!

Hinckley is growing so fast...I know I say that every time, but it is true.  He is such a good baby.  He really only cries when he's hungry, he always wakes up smiling, and he loves to cuddle.  I love holding him...I don't want to put him down because I know that these moments are fleeting.  He is discovering something new everyday, or at least it seems that way.  He finally rolled over on Sunday the 5th.  He rolls from his back to his tummy but hasn't quite figured out how to get back and boy does that make him mad!  He even tries to roll out of his Bumbo! He loves to have his hands in his mouth!  If he isn't eating he is sucking on his hands...he even does it when he's sleeping.  He has his 4 month appointment next week and I finally had to change out his 0-3 month clothes for 3-6 month clothes.  He had pictures earlier this week and was so happy during the whole photo shoot...I can't wait to see how they turn out!!

Taylor thought the sun setting the other night was really pretty.  He took the camera outside and this is what he came back with...I thought they were pretty good!  He doesn't know how to make changes to the camera, this was all natural lighting right after a rain storm at dusk...so beautiful.  Now pray tell, could the big bang really have created such magnificent colors?  Absolutely not!

Scouts, football practices, football games of the season and Family Fun Night at the school finish out this week.  The boys have a fun mile run next week, more practice, a game and scouts.  I have PTO, Training for Church Councils, Church Primary Training, General Relief Society Broadcast are on my agenda for next week.  Wish us luck!

PLUS...started working out with a trainer.  I have known for awhile that I had plateaued with running, and after having Hinckley I eased back into it and realized that the weight wasn't coming off as easy.  I am enjoying being pushed, but man, I am sore.  You know it is bad when you try to read and you can't even hold up the book.  I guess that is my argument for buying myself a Kindle for my birthday!

And finally, with the kids in school and a slightly slower schedule, I am spending a lot more time in the kitchen...such stress relief for me!  After all, we all must Eat to Live!

Have a great week everyone!

  2. Busy people you are...

Loved your big bang comment. Such truth

    Wow a trainer, already?! I'm
Impressed. Are you doing that at the Y? Does Hinckley do their child care? How is that?!
