Almost In

Tomorrow is our last day of moving into our new home. It seems like it has taken forever...we actually closed on October 10th! Of course, we had to pick the weekend that winter decided to finally show up. I am glad I will be at a primary activity! Here is the thing that you should know about moving...DON'T decide you need a new house every three years. Lesson learned. Well, at least until 2011 when I go through the new house itch. Somebody remind me about how I am feeling right now!

I have some cute picks of McKay while I have been running errands, decorating, etc. but I don't know how to get them from my blackberry to my laptop. As soon as I figure that out I will post them. I think all of the kids are ready to be settled and back to a normal, well as normal as it can be, schedule.

Kyle took time out for Taylor tonight and they are at Madagascar 2 right now. Yes, we let our kids stay up until midnight...who doesn't.

And for those of you who are OCD for Twilight...some of the 30+ crowd are too. We aren't, however, going to the midnight showing. We are all going at 11:00 am on the 21st with the hopes that there won't be a bunch of screaming teenage girls. There shouldn't be because that would be very irresponsible of the parents. (hmmm...I wonder if I would let my daughter skip school for something like this???)

Hope you all have a great weekend!

  1. YAY I am so excited for you. I am sorry it has been such a pain, and now with the lovely Iowa weather rolling in to make things so much funner for you. I can't wait to see the new house. (better yet...have dinner with you in the new house)haha!

Whatever! You guys should totally come to the midnight showing. YOU only live once, and how cool that you could say "Hey man I was THERE at the Twilight movie premire" Ok so maybe not that cool, but either way I can't wait until Nov.21st

  3. yay that you're all moved in..I despise moving...with a passion!

you should totally come with all of us at that midnight showing...although I guess it is past you 30+ year olds bed times right? (wink, wink). But seriously the more the merrier!

And yes, I would let my daughter skip school for this...really and truly I would. As long as she had good grades then I see no rason why not. My parents let me do things like this all the time as long as I was still on the honor roll :)

So are you coming with us or what? We might just let out a few little squeals...so I'm warning you in advance :P
