Another annual end of the year tradition is for a stop over at the McKellar's on our way home for root beer floats (or just ice cream for my kids). Other families along the path have joined in the tradition and offer some type of sweet treat. The kids love it...what's not to love with it being the last day of school AND a sugar high? This was a difficult one because our dear friends are leaving. The wonderful Doctor, his lovely wife and their four precious children are heading to the potato state for a new opportunity. Sadness especially for McKay as her best friend since birth is leaving, and sadness for me because Emily doesn't care that I listen to Eminem. Love friends like that, as they are few and far between. They will certainly be missed.
