Once again the Youth Etiquette dinner was a success. The past four years I have been asked by the youth leaders in our church to give a youth etiquette class and then I make dinner for them. Each year I plan a four course meal for their dining pleasure. It is something I really enjoy doing and I hope they enjoy too.
This years menu:
Thinly sliced zucchini with shallots, olive oil and balsamic vinegar
Roasted Butternut Squash Soup w/Caramelized Apples and Smoked Gouda
Saffron Shrimp "Risotto"
Risotto style farro, quinoa, saffron and Parmesan
Apple Tart with Salted Caramel Sauce
Apples on phyllo with salted caramel sauce and brown sugar whipped cream
